…we both know that I could think myself dizzy…

I’d be lying through my teeth if I told you
That I’m ok
July came, I thought I had it all together
Until you said
“I need some space”
Truth be told
It’s so hard to wait
One eye on the clock
And one on the phone
It’s 5:19….
I’m feeling alone
If I could talk to you
I’d want you to know
that holding loose
Ain’t letting go.
We both know that I could think myself dizzy
Right now I’m spinning around
You said, “baby, don’t worry”
But I just miss you right now
I said, I miss you right now
One eye on the clock
And one on the phone
It’s 5:19….
I’m feeling alone
If I could talk to you
I’d want you to know
that holding loose
Ain’t letting go.
Baby, take all the time you need
I just want you to know
I’ll be here, waiting
With one eye on the clock
And one on the phone
It’s 5:19….
I’m feeling alone
If I could talk to you
I’d want you to know
That holding loose
Ain’t letting go.
…Ain’t letting go
[Matt Wertz, 5:19]

i’m out… have a goodnight all!

this day in history [august 6]
so my mustang is in the shop today getting looked at… again… seems like the nicer and smarter cars get, the more expensive the repairs get… everything is electrical and computer related now so i guess gone are the days of popping the hood and fixing it yourself… not that i was ever close to doing my own car repairs…
on a lighter more fun note, here is today’s look at history…
1972 – today is Geri Halliwell’s birthday (one of the spice girls, don’t ask which one cause i really don’t know!)
1993 – The final episode of “Perfect Strangers” aired on ABC.
i guess neither of those is really that funny, at least not as funny as some i have read about on other days, but they are both mildly entertaining… i guess…
i’m in such a “blah” mood today… so blah… i know, get over it… i will…
later!

this day in history [august 3]
because i apparently bore easily and have nothing better to do, i think i’ll start posting the funniest (to me at least) events in history for whatever day it is…
so here is today’s funny historical moment…
1985 – Mail service returned to a nudist colony in Paradise Lake, FL. Residents promised that they’d wear clothes or stay out of sight when the mailperson came to deliver.

wish list item # 4

Jeep Commander… this is obviously a big wish list item… not just in size obviously but also in price (they start around $30,000) althought i’d also be happy with a Cherokee or Grand Cherokee as long as it was black and awesome…
i’ve had the tremendous blessing of being able to drive my brother Matt’s Cherokee for a week while he is up in Winterport Maine with some of our youth on a missions type trip… pray that i don’t covet it while i’m borrowing it this week cause it’s a really nice one! and i was told it’s kinda Bear-ish… suite!
anyway, gotta run, time to get back to work!

“don’t eat my tea!” [random text message from me]
MCMLXXXII
MCMLXXXII… that would be 1982 in roman numerals, in case you were confused or just wondering…
in ‘82 i came into this world with little more than a few hairs on my head and even less knowledge in my 3 lb. brain (fyi… 3 pounds is the weight of the average human brain!)
you would think after 25 years i’d know a little more (maybe a lot more) than i actually do… regardless of how little or how much i think i know, there is plenty of life ahead of me and i hope and pray that i can soak it up and enjoy this life and live it for the right reasons… if i can just keep my focus where it should be focused and just show up each day and allow God to use me and shape me as He sees fit i will be just fine…
side note: i feel like the past few blogs i’ve posted haven’t made much sense, not sure why, but if they really don’t make sense than just know it’s not intentional, i’m just in a funk…
having said all that, i’ve been bored and felt like researching a few things about good ole ‘82, so without further guilding the lily and with no more ado here for your informational pleasure is nineteen eighty-two…
